This is the treatment step in our natural retinol alternative routine, and the one I reach for every morning & night. Our Bakuchiol Face Serum is a lightweight face oil with a higher concentration of bakuchiol, the gentle plant based retinol alternative, so your skin gets focused care right where it needs it. Bakuchiol is known for helping soften the look of fine lines and uneven tone over time, and it does it quietly. No peeling, no stinging, no waiting weeks for your skin to adjust.
We blend bakuchiol into a base of squalane, rose infused jojoba, meadowfoam seed oil, and organic prickly pear seed oil. It absorbs quickly and leaves skin dewy and soft, never oily, which makes it a lovely fit for sensitive, dry, combination, and mature skin alike. The rose comes from organic petals I infuse into jojoba myself, so the scent is soft and natural rather than perfumed.
A few drops is all you need. Press it into clean skin, then follow with our Bakuchiol Tallow Face Cream to seal everything in. Together they’re a simple two step routine sown with intention, made in small batches and bottled in amber glass for more intentional living.

Prickly Pear Seed Oil is a treasured cactus seed oil rich in linoleic acid and vitamin E, known for supporting a healthy looking skin barrier.

Is bakuchiol a natural alternative to retinol?
Yes. Bakuchiol is a plant based ingredient from the babchi plant that has been studied for retinol like results on the look of fine lines and uneven tone, while being much gentler on the skin.
Can I use bakuchiol during the day?
Yes. Bakuchiol doesn’t make skin more sensitive to the sun the way retinol can, so you can use both products morning or night. Our products don’t contain sunscreen, so we always recommend following with your favorite sunscreen during the day.
Is this collection good for sensitive skin?
It was made with sensitive skin in mind. That said, every skin is different, so we suggest patch testing on your inner arm before using a new product on your face.
Is tallow good for your face?
Tallow is naturally rich in fats similar to the ones your skin makes on its own, which is why it absorbs so well and leaves skin soft rather than greasy. Ours is rendered three times for a clean, creamy texture.
How long until I see results?
Most people notice softer, more comfortable skin right away. For changes in the look of fine lines and tone, give it consistent use for about 8 to 12 weeks.
Can I use bakuchiol while pregnant or nursing?
Many people choose bakuchiol as a gentler option during this season, but research is still limited. Please check with your doctor or midwife before adding any new skincare.
Do I need both products?
Not at all. Each one works on its own. Using them together gives you the most complete routine.
